Making Good Decisions in a Place of Overwhelm

Linda Rowland, a Psychologist in Lake Macquarie, says it’s “difficult to make a good decision in a place of overwhelm.” If you’ve recently found out that you’re pregnant and it wasn’t planned, you may very well consider this an overwhelming position to be in; you’re not alone! Our team offers the support you might need in the midst of being overwhelmed and pregnant.

Life is full from day to day with work, study, family, relationships, health issues and more. As you are juggling all the different aspects of life, with so much going on, you may feel a pregnancy is just too much for you to handle. Add to that, the physical symptoms you might be experiencing (nausea, sore breasts, fatigue, etc.) and it’s enough to make you want to run and hide.

At Zoe’s Place, we provide a caring and safe environment for you to sit down and take stock with one of our client support team members.  They will encourage you to listen to the fear but also to the other emotions you have going on.

It’s important to think through every aspect of your situation before you make a decision because whatever you choose is life-altering and permanent.

There are no easy answers and everyone’s situation is different.

If you would like to make an appointment to speak to one of our client support staff, please send us a message. They will help you navigate the situation and make a good decision.
